Haskel is pleased to announce its participation in the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking. FCH JU is a unique public-private partnership supporting research and development of fuel cell and hydrogen energy technologies in Europe. Its aim is to accelerate time-to-market of technologies that have the potential to create a carbon-lean energy system and contribute to economic growth.
The H2Ref project, Hydrogen Refuelling Research and Development, is co-financed by European funds from the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking under grant agreement number 671463. In addition to Haskel, the consortium members working on the H2Ref project include:

Haskel is proud to be part of Europe's forward-thinking approach to the hydrogen industry and clean energy technology. Our H2Ref project, developing cost effective and reliable hydrogen fuel cell vehicle refueling systems, is already moving forward. The team, including Haskel Europe’s Chief Hydrogen Engineer, Stewart Anderson, recently met for a steering group event in Sunderland, England with fellow FCH JU members.
“As we explore value chains for hydrogen refuelling and power-to-hydrogen applications, our engineers have been focused on designing application-specific equipment to fit the needs of this rapidly growing market," said Stewart.
Haskel’s high-pressure gas handling equipment is uniquely designed for hydrogen use, based on pressure and flow requirements, and to address unique issues related to exposure in hydrogen environments.
Recently we started taking orders for the H-Drive, our new generation hydraulic-driven gas booster. H-Drive is designed to safely perform in a wide range of demanding high-rate, high-pressure gas compression and transfer applications.
Haskel will also announce a new technology at the 2018 Hydrogen & Fuel Cells Energy Summit. This project has the potential to reduce costs for manufacturers of hydrogen refueling stations, products that require costly testing and an ASME audit.
