How can we help you?

Delivering proven high-pressure valves and fittings that ensure long life and reliable performance in severe environments.

BuTech is a leading brand of high-pressure valves, fittings and tubing engineered to meet the demands of today’s most critical applications, such as in Hydrogen Fuel cell mobility, oil and gas exploration, petrochemical/chemical processing, power generation research laboratories, aerospace and defense, industrial manufacturing, shipbuilding, and heavy industrial industries.

BuTech combines vast industry experience and a culture of continuous technological improvement to provide the market’s safest, most reliable, comprehensive range of long-life, high-pressure valves and piping components, and customized solutions to meet your own unique project requirements.

Designed to meet the critical requirements of today’s most severe applications while ensuring the highest quality and most reliable performance for pressure control, BuTech valves and system components are available in any alloy to handle pressures from vacuum to 150,000 psi (10,340 bar) and temperatures from -423° F (-253° C) to over 1200° F (649° C). This includes:

  • Low Pressure Equipment Compression Fittings for Service to 15,000 psi (1,034 bar)
  • Medium Pressure Equipment Coned and Threaded to 20,000 psi (1,380 bar)
  • High Pressure Equipment Coned and Threaded for Service from 30,000 psi (2,070 bar) to 150,000 psi (10,340 bar)

Hydrogen Valves

Expertly designed hydrogen resistant valves and fittings designed to withstand the demands of hydrogen service are used to control the highly pressurized gas in hydrogen storage, compression and dispensing applications, as well as in hydrogen fuel cell testing, production and process facilities.

BuTech high quality valves and components for hydrogen service are engineered to deliver safe, and reliable performance at pressures to 20,000 PSI (1378 BAR).

Subsea Valves

BuTech subsea valves meet performance, safety and reliability expectations in the deepest water and harshest environments in the offshore industry. Overs 30 years of engineering experience designing highly engineered corrosion-resistant subsea equipment proven to operate reliably at extreme pressures and temperatures at great depths. Subsea Valves conforming to API6A 17D are available in pressures up to 15,000 psi.

High Purity Valves / Oxygen Cleaned Valves

Oxygen cleaned valves constructed of Monel 400 and rated to 10,000 PSI are available to meet high purity requirements or oxygen service. Oxygen cleaned valve quality, safety and cleanliness levels meet Mil Spec 1330D.

ABS Certified Valves

Our range of ABS certified BuTech valves are safe to use in offshore applications on a variety of ABS-classed vessels and offshore equipment and systems, operating under pressures as high as 20,000 psi (1380 bar) and extreme temperature conditions, often with erosive or corrosive solids, liquids or gases.

BuTech Valves are manufactured using only the strongest materials:

Standard materials of construction include 316 cold-worked stainless steel, 17-4PH, Ampco 45, and glass-filled PTFE. All BuTech equipment may also be produced in any machinable metal. Some of the more common exotic materials used are:

  • Hastelloy™
  • Inconel™
  • Titanium
  • Monel 400™
  • Duplex Materials
