Who We Are

For more than 80 years, Haskel has been the global leader in high-pressure engineering - pioneering the gas and liquid handling technologies that industries worldwide rely on for mission‑critical performance.

As the world’s foremost provider of high‑pressure pumps, gas boosters, compression systems and valves, our innovations have shaped the standards of safety, reliability and precision across aerospace and defense, subsea operations, industrial automation, clean energy and other safety‑critical environments. Built on decades of advancement in air‑driven, hydraulic and electric compression, Haskel continues to deliver the engineering certainty essential to global sustainability, national security, research and exploration—because no one handles high pressure like Haskel. As part of Ingersoll Rand, we bring even greater value to customers around the world. Explore our full 80‑year legacy on our Anniversary page.

80 Years of High-Pressure Innovations That Have Shaped the World

Haskel has a long and storied history as the world leader in the design and manufacture of the industry’s most reliable high-pressure equipment and technology. In 1954 Haskel was a pioneer in the development of the first dry running hydraulically driven gas booster, which did not require lubrication for the compressor, used with nitrogen and helium to pressure as high as 10,000 psi.

In 1961 we launched a range of metal seals able to withstand the extreme temperatures of aircraft engines. Another major development was the introduction of the air driven gas booster in 1963. This product line was supplemented with the introduction of air-driven liquid pumps, leading to the publication of the first liquid pump catalog in 1963. Haskel added air pressure amplifiers in the 1970s and acquired the BuTech line of high-pressure valves and fittings in the 1990’s.

In 2019, Ingersoll Rand acquired Haskel. Ingersoll Rand (NYSE:IR), is a global leader in mission-critical flow creation and industrial technologies. For more information, visit www.IRCO.com.
